Family Visa Sponsor Requirements

All sponsors must be related to the applicant in one of the categories described above and must have either a grant of Canadian citizenship or permanent residency. Sponsors must be at least 18 years of age and must have sufficient financial stability t allow them to sponsor the applicant for an agreed period. This period will normally be between 3 and 10 years.
